EDENA Capital Nusantara Co-Hosts Indonesia's Premier Carbon Conference CDC 2025

JAKARTA EDENA Capital Nusantara, a leading digital securities exchange operator, successfully co-hosted the Carbon Digital Conference (CDC) 2025 with the Indonesia Carbon Trade Association (IDCTA) on December 8-9 in Bandung, Indonesia.

As the exclusive Title Sponsor and Co-Host of this government-backed summit, EDENA demonstrated its pivotal role in developing carbon market infrastructure across 70 countries. The conference was officially supported by Indonesia's Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Forestry, and Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

The two-day event brought together over 400 global leaders, including H.E. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Indonesian Minister of Environment; H.E. Muhammad Farhan, Mayor of Bandung; ambassadors from Russia, Korea, and the UK; and a provincial delegation from Hainan, China. Corporate participants included executives from BP, Shell, ExxonMobil, POSCO, Hyundai E&C, as well as representatives from the World Bank IFC, KOTRA, and JETRO.

Wook Lee, CEO of EDENA Capital Nusantara, delivered opening remarks alongside government ministers and ambassadors, presenting EDENA's vision for connecting carbon-rich emerging markets with global institutional capital. On the second day, Yayang Ruzaldy, Vice President of EDENA, served as keynote speaker and formalized a strategic partnership through an MOU signing with IDCTA.

“The carbon market has reached an inflection point where carbon credits are becoming a genuine asset class,” said Wook Lee, CEO of EDENA.

“Just as the Korean government recently extended carbon credit benefits to individual electric vehicle owners, we're seeing a global transformation where environmental action translates directly into economic value. EDENA is building the infrastructure to facilitate this transformation across 70 countries,” added Wook Lee.

The conference featured intensive discussions on Indonesia's carbon market regulatory framework, global CCS/CCUS project developments, and trilateral carbon market cooperation between Korea, Japan, and Indonesia. The Carbon Bazaar session showcased 15 major carbon projects, while the Business Matching segment facilitated direct negotiations between project developers and investors.

EDENA's strategic positioning spans from Indonesia as the ASEAN hub to Egypt as the gateway to MENA and Africa. The company is developing government-approved digital securities exchanges across multiple jurisdictions, tokenizing not only carbon credits but also corporate equity, gold, real estate, and other real-world assets.

The successful co-hosting of CDC 2025 reinforces EDENA's leadership in the rapidly evolving carbon market ecosystem and its commitment to accelerating climate finance through innovative digital infrastructure. (*)
